Just like some cars are better than others, some limos are absolute crap and some are better. As for regular car services, a Town Car between JFK and Manhattan should cost anywhere between $40 and $60 depending on company and time of day.

I saw in another thread a lot of commentary about cars and drivers. Unfortunately there is very Little quality control among these services. The cars are individually owned and are very rarely of the same type these days (once upon a time, one company would have Town Cars, another Caddies, another LTD's, etc.). Generally when a driver leaves one service, he then signs up with another (remember the drivers are all independant contractors with the services, the services get a cut of the money for booking them out running accounts, etc.).
