Compensation for travel delay?
Hi...I am new to this board and not sure if this is the right place for this discussion.
Due to mechanical problems, my flight from Vegas to Dallas was delayed resulting in missing my connecting flight to Jax. Husband and I (along with many others) were put up in a Holiday Inn in Dallas overnight and rerouted the next morning. At no time was an apology given. I have been told we should/could receive compensation in the form of vouchers for future flights. Could someone elaborate on this please? What steps should I take to make a complaint?
