Yeah, but it harder to earn the miles.
If I fly to the East Coast, now I get about 10000 for a roundtrip for 5000 BIS miles. If I buy a ticket for $300 on the new plan, I get 8 x 300 or 2400 miles
AND........I will have to pay more miles for awards
