Unhappy camper with these changes, since most of my AA miles are used for award travel to India from DFW (MileSaver awards).
* TATL J travel goes up by 2,500 miles each way (67.5K -> 70K)
* Trans-Pacific J travel goes up by a whopping 25K miles each way (85K -> 110K, i.e. 55K+30K -> 70K+40K for the two segments). Flying by CX via HKG no longer as attractive as it used to be.
* Small mercies: TATL Y travel 45K -> 40K. But no fun traveling to India in coach to begin with :-)
Also miffed at the loss of 4 SWUs - chances of me making 200K EQMs next year are not looking good, so will have to make do with 4 SWUs.
Oh well.
