As a Platinum, I am really getting stiffed on miles. Last month I flew to London and earned 21,004 miles in my account. My ticket cost 693.00 base + 709.70 taxes for a total of 1402.70. If I understand this correctly, I would earn 8 * 693.00 for a total of 5,544 miles in my account, right? Or will I still get the 10,502 BIS miles plus the dollar multiplier? I am reading it to mean I will only get 5,544 miles in my account. If so, that is really, really bad.
