My PNR never indicated I was upgrade to C+, and I could not select C+ seats.
However, I did see that a C+ seat was 'assigned' on the seat map for each segment (I picked a flight way out that was empty so its unlikely someone else got a seat at the same time). When I canceled the itin, that 'assigned' seat became available so it must've been mine, but the system never linked it to my record or acknowledged that I could select it... and I didn't like the fact that whatever process occurred removed my medallion upgrade requests.
Seems like nobody actually tested the functionality, or they just don't care.
