Several months ago I was booking a multi-city international itinerary in paid business on the old site. For one of the legs it was only offering me GlobalFirst seating even though Business was wide open. I didn't understand it but I just booked a different (connecting) flight. The flight offering GF was a nonstop flight while other flights had connections.

As a side note, the flights I ended up booking had a much less expensive fare on the old site than what was showing on the "beta" new site. That lead me to never use the new site again until forced to a few weeks ago.
