To save anyone the trouble of messing with that JAL calculator, a HND-SFO return flight will nab you 5800 FOP on JAL's "Mileage Bank." That means 14 long haul flights in full fare Y to get to JMB Gold or 17 to get to Diamond.

Unless I'm missing something here.
