Given credit cards are generating fewer miles than anticipated in AE/AIMIA's last quarter, where will the miles come from for the humungous increases slated for next month? The company's position will further erode as awards become less attractive and more expensive. This is a downward spiral for sure. Changing cc partners was a big mistake and hasn't generated as many new accounts and activity for TD, and thus benefiting AE/AIMIA. Is there any attraction to this program even as a consumer spend/loyalty program?
