That Medieval Dinner was done in colloquial German and tested some of us well beyond our language capabilities. However, it was thoroughly enjoyed by a good part of the group since most were local. The visuals were hilarious and we ended up forming lasting bonds with some of the Germans who were happy to accommodate and translate whenever we were clearly at sea. The next day's trip to the Museum Island was memorable as was our personal side excursion to the Jewish Museum, the best of its kind that we have ever visited.
It was one of the all-time great FT weekends capped off by a run over to the Olympiastadion on Sunday afternoon after most of the FTers had gone home. Berlinflyer's Bundesliga home team from Bielefeld was playing Berlin Huerta so some of us ventured out there with him to get a look. There was lots of Gluehwein to keep us warm in the early March cold.
Request that *A Flyer put us down as interested.
