Anyway Uber did a miserable job again today getting me home. I wrote a bad review in the comment fee and they will adjust the invoice based on what the trip should have been.
Interesting explanation was:
"It looks like there was a GPS glitch on this trip which also explains why the map in your receipt might look a bit off. Because fares are based on the distance and time recorded by GPS data in your driver’s app, technical errors can occasionally lead to inaccurate fares.
I understand that you expect your driver to be knowledgeable about the city even without the use of GPS so I've forwarded this feedback to our Driver Operations team so they can give your driver some pointers about improving his city knowledge."
Perhaps you should have read my post more accurately. I talked about the destination, not the pickup.
And I didn't rely upon location to pick me up but rather set a location as the destination. Why was the destination was inaccurate? Well, perhaps for reasons that might have been very similarly to what you just posted.

Easy way out. Pretending something (or someone) doesn't exist because you don't like them/their positions is detrimental to growth.
