You mentioned "location" versus "landmark. Mine was just advice. I don't know how experienced you are...? If you are truly experienced you wouldn't rely on location in big cities as the signals bounce around like crazy. But what do I know. I'll try to remember not to comment on your posts in future so you won't feel insulted.
Anyway Uber did a miserable job again today getting me home. I wrote a bad review in the comment fee and they will adjust the invoice based on what the trip should have been.
Interesting explanation was:
"It looks like there was a GPS glitch on this trip which also explains why the map in your receipt might look a bit off. Because fares are based on the distance and time recorded by GPS data in your driver’s app, technical errors can occasionally lead to inaccurate fares.
I understand that you expect your driver to be knowledgeable about the city even without the use of GPS so I've forwarded this feedback to our Driver Operations team so they can give your driver some pointers about improving his city knowledge."
