While my own opinions and biases will inevitably affect my views and voting decisions, the past two years have reminded me to see what others are saying. Being on TalkBoard is not about me, it's about representing others. In my first term, there have been issues that I went into thinking I'd vote one way and the ongoing discussion motivated me to vote differently...as I said it's not just my opinion playing a role here.
