Welcome to the thread and hope you enjoy reading everyone's plans. I was in your position before getting into airmiles. I recommend that your first target is a good credit rating whilst you move and get a new job, then on a couple of years your new hobby could be collecting points for travel.

I were you I would focus on cashback credit cards, and keeping 1 or 2 active credit cards at a time: it's a lot easier to track your spend. You want your credit rating to shoot up so always pay on time and make sure you update all your addresses as you move, be consistent with the earnings you declare on your application forms. Check your credit history report and look around for other tips.
