Given how many long haul f flights I've bought this year I'd have thought they would have not been fussed about paying me back what they owe - clearly not bothered about passenger satisfaction or customer service.
Perhaps next time, just simply cancel the ticket completely and rebook rather than worry about partial credit. That way you will be charged the correct fare
As far as number of flights purchased, that should have no impact on calculation of refund surely
