Pending Award on CX

I have an award (in F) from LAX-HKG-MNL booked via telephone using AA miles (CX metal).

Its been more than 24 hours and still shows as pending. I fly 8AM PST on Tuesday, and its Saturday morning.

Precisely, what's been written on the AA.com site is as follows:

Please call to book your trip
Contact Reservations or call your travel agent to ticket and pay for your trip.

Read a bit here, spoke to an agent who said, dont worry, you have the ticket. It will be issued on Monday, and if its not, call back Monday morning. I further understand that partner airlines have 72 hours to ticket.

Situation is making me nervous - I have a hotel booking confirmed in MNL and a work situation pending. Can anyone shed any light on how to best deal with this (or should I just calm down and wait).
