We haven't been flying too much international this year.Did HKG in Jan and DFW-HKG cleared at gate using 2014 SWU.Rode MCE return. Same results with HKG in Oct/Nov.Two trips to YYZ thru DFW (no UG's cleared)PSP-DFW is our toughest UG and forget about UG's on DFW-YYZ on the A319.Went to DUB 2x's in July/Aug booked in I so no UG's. On LAX-JFK tried to use SWU to UG but full flight in F. All of these were on AA.
Oddest trip was J LAX-PPT on TN booked with AA miles when without us asking TN UG's both of us to F on the A340 on the return.Quite an improvement over their J recliner seat.
We are waitlisted on DFW-EZE in Feb and SCL-DFW in Mar but SCL looks doubtful as it was changed to a 787 with fewer seats up front.
