I was scheduled on 138 on 11/4. It looked like there would be no upgrades. Now confirmed by pssteve. I had booked in June, so he would have beat me out. I have read here where people have re-routed to get upgrades. I was in Bangkok and ended up doing. Bkk-Nrt-lax-Phx-Fll. Ended up getting home 1-1/2 hours later than original Hkg booking. Did Y on Jal flight, but empty seat next to me, then J on AA to Lax. First to Fll. Best change fee I have ever paid. I have done 9 rt since start of Hkg service and have been upgraded on all, except this week. Have one more trip in Dec. 137 looks good at this point, but 138 is almost full. I may do lax re-route again.
