I was supposed to fly ORD to HKG today. Denied boarding - involuntarily - due to some combination of the weight + weather, requiring pilot to allow fewer passengers to board.

Got a hotel stay overnight. Rebooked on a MUCH less ideal flight tomorrow - ORD to SFO, long layover, then SFO to HKG. Offered cash (check) $800 or $1500 travel credit - I took the credit. They also provided three $7 "meal vouchers"

Of course, the process you and rush you out and I didn't want to make a stink at the airport.

Do I have any options?
