Guessing "Jane Smith" was the unlucky IDB on the flight?
For $700 I'm surprised they couldn't find any takers on a mid-day flight. Surely DL could find an open seat on a later flight or via another hub! I would have looked at that as "Hey - $700 I now have to gamble with once I land in LAS".
