Held a Europe to Australia award reservation on QR travel in next May for 4 days and called to ticket this afternoon around 6pm. Agent preempted me it would be in queue for processing and probably would not be ticketed in Monday or Tuesday. I said I knew in recent months ticketing had been quite slow especially for travel far out in the future. He agreed.

To my surprise, 90 min later I got the e-Ticket email. This is faster than an AA metal MIA-LHR award I booked online earlier this week - that reservation took 10 hours to ticket.

Knock on wood, we have not had any delayed ticketing issue for all the AA bookings this year, including several partner awards. Hope the luck stay.
