My wife and I are travelling from Manchester to Sydney via Dubai, we have selected our J seats as 12E/F for the first leg and 9E/F for the second and for the return flights.
On the Emirates booking site we are shown sat together ie with just the screen separating us, but on seat guru and another site the seats appear further apart, can anyone comment on the seats being together ie ideal for couples and also there location on the cabin.
If you look carefully at the seating chart, you will see that some E/F pairs have the minibar on the 'outside' (i.e. right next to the aisle) and others on the 'inside (i.e. in between you and your seat mate).
Row 9 is of the first type, so OK for you. Row 12 is of the second type and you will struggle to communicate so I would suggest changing that one.
Unfortunately you can't say that odd numbered rows are ok and even numbered rows are not as row 13 is missing so the 'rule' changes there....
We were in 18E/F a few weeks ago and it was perfect for us.
