About 10 years ago I was flying PRG-LHR(BA)-MIA(AA), and the BA ticket agent in PRG was unable to print baggage tags thru to Miami. I insisted, but I was so discouraged at the OW 'Alliance' whereby I had to clear customs in LHR to collect my bag & recheck for my ongoing flight. Very disappointing.
