After paying $10 and $11 for SFO-YUL/YUL-SFO, I felt that was a little pricey. Also, an all-day pass from Gogo is only $16 USD, which is less than $22 CAD (and if I'd had a connection, I would have pre-purchased that).
I wonder how they determine the price to offer. It certainly isn't by flight length. And they've shot themselves in the foot after selling it for $10 on one of the longest transcons if they expect me to pay twice that on a shorter one.
AC is using Dynamic pricing with GOGO wifi. They are gauging the traffic and charging accordingly. They wanted $19 for a YEG/YYZ flight a few weeks ago and I asked about it. There is not going to be set prices per flight for the time being.
