I think the PE seats on the 787 are fantastic. Granted my longest ride in them has been YYZ-YVR but I came away with the impression that I'd totally do a TATL in it.

The Y seat on the HD is leather and cramped, while the 787/ refurb. 777 Y seat is fabric and cramped. From personal experience, the padding is similar- although the 787 seat feels more comfortable. The 787 also has a more modern IFE system.
