A few notes about switching to Serve

I was able to switch my RB account to Serve (the One VIP flavor; see here for more info) this morning, after a few headaches. Took three or four tries and a call to both Serve and RB CS, but it did finally work.

Both reps said it might take up to 30 days for the RB to "completely close". Right. The Serve rep tried to be helpful, and had me resubmit while he was on the phone, using a different email and changing the phone number. That didn't work. Then the RB rep said that I should use the exact same info from my RB account. I didn't think that would work, since back in the day the same email would cause an app to fail (when I switched from BB to RB, I had to use a new email, which worked fine). Figured why not, so I used the same email, phone, even password and secret question/answer from RB for Serve, and lo and behold, it worked. Now to change the password and secret.......

Hope this might save someone a few headaches.
