I had my KTN with my old company's TA. My KTN were in all itineraries with airlines participating in TSA PreCheck, and I was still randomly selected for normal screening once. While there is no need for GE members to enroll in the TSA PreCheck programme, this is something worth noting. (I believe this also happens for people enrolled in TSA PreCheck.)

There is no guarantee. If a passenger is to obtain BP at the airport, don't make any assumptions. It is better to be early than to miss the flight.
