good luck with the fare difference, spent the last time a lot of time and energy - didnt worked in the end.

call again next week, afaik as soon as there is an involuntary change you can full refund or change foc (as I said, this is not a really rerouting, just the interline fare for HKT)
Problem is DXB-BKK is more expensive than DXB-HKT, so changing to BKK for F and adding a connection is still going cost additional cash either route m3red takes (refund or change)
