Keep in mind that the entire airline industry still operates by sending teletype messages around. (They don't use actual paper teletypes these days, at least.)
They don't even need to know where i'm going on which day?? Wouldn't that sound odd if someone called CS and said my name is John Doe, my son's name is Jeff Doe, and I want to cancel all of his reservations (without even telling the CS rep where i'm flying)?
