The UC club doesn't have JW blue label, but BA only has that in their F lounges, not their business class lounges. Not sure what's on on offer in the GFL.
Back to the original topic, the coffee issue is symbolic of the culture of the airline. I'm never going to expect a fantastic cup of gourmet coffee served on a plane, but bad, cheap coffee is symptomatic of UA favoring cheap over quality. I know very few people that if price/schedule were equal would choose to fly UA over a competitor. As others have said, nobody is going to say I'm flying airline X because they have better coffee, but the coffee is one of the many things that make up the broader experience.
