Today I received a mail to tell me (in Turkish) that the flight time had changed from 13.05 to 14.05. This would be fine but for the fact that it will give us only a 1hr 25 min margin to connect. We are hand luggage only.

To my mind this is an IRR and I called to get the flight moved forward rather than back. I was passed to the Domestic desk who told me that the ticket could not be changed. I accept that this would normally be the case but this change is not being requested or instigated by me. I am being told that it is a winter time change I am unsure if this means the time in Turkey, or a winter schedule.

I am being told by the International desk that this can be done, and the domestic desk refuses. I am left with no alternative but to buy fresh tickets as I am making no progress. In fairness, the tickets are very cheap (TL158 for two) so rather than mess about I have bought them. I am, however, far from pleased.

The agent told me to "see someone at the airport" as no supervisors were present - this I intend to do. Can you very kindly suggest what else - if anything - I can do? I have joined the Miles & Smiles club if the helps (which I doubt).

There are far worse things that happen but I am rather in Catch22 situation. Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
This is probably due to the change in winter time in Turkey (because of elections?). Your other flight should also change times accordingly.
