I wanted to snag 68A/K [unlimited legroom in these seats] for my flight so I showed up to DFW when the check in desk had just opened around 8:45am and requested they release one of the seats to me. The agent even commented "you're lucky you came now" to which I responded "It wasn't by accident"
If you cant get 68A/K then go for row 67 or 80 if legroom is your big concern. You might also check if 81A/K do not have a seat infront of them like 68A/K which just depends on the aircraft they operate that day. Again, all these seats are only released at check-in.
