I think I'll resign myself to the fact that we will just have to go with the flow in the security areas.
Regarding immigration, what do you do with the cards that are handed out? Do you get them on the aircraft? Which queue do you join, bearing in mind that in Bne we will be presenting UK passports, but we do have electronic passports. However, last time I landed there the smart gate queue was longer than the regular queue.
On a different note, has anyone any experience of going through security after open heart surgery? My OH recently had operation and now has wires in his chest. We're not sure what the wires are made from & whether they would trigger the alarm. Would we have to pre warn security?
