Not that it matters because, hey, let's not let facts get in the way of the Kool-Aid but when inflation was in the double digits (which is nothing compared to these increases), the $$$ in your bank account sure went up because interest rates were high, even on bank accounts. Now those dollars were worth less but they still went up.
