Anyway, it was also my understanding that I would need to declare the goods at the point of entry but my tax adviser talked to the customs and they told him I should declare it with Swedish customs as my company is registered in Sweden and will reclaim the Swedish VAT. Probably there is some cooperation between Sweden and Denmark since CPH serves the metropolitan area of Copenhagen and Malmö?

I know there are some quite funny agreements on taxes and social security here as well... I will talk to the Danish customs on my outbound flight to get their input and hope the customs officers are not totally clueless - which I think they will be
SKAT answers the phone, but just make sure to budget around at least 30 minutes to get in touch. They seemed more willing to look things up on the computers while over the phone than Danish customs at CPH this morning.
