It seems that it's a lot easier to gain club points if you fly AA for ultra long flight after new rules. Just 1 RT of biz or first class, can earn 200+ pts. If this calculator stay true, ppl will just fly AA instead of CX.
Edit: looks like I was wrong. Only benefit for those who take cheapest fare class for ultra long flight
AA lowest class vs CX lowest class fare == 40 club pts each way (AA) vs 10 pts (CX)
