Reading another thread here about poor reviews for a property in Madrid being transitioned to the Courtyard brand in the midst of an employee strike, made me wonder whether anybody here has actually stayed at a Marriott property during a strike.
A few years ago I stayed at the Ren Blackstone on Michigan Ave in Chicago. While there was no strike there, my walk every day to where I had business took me by the Congress Plaza Hotel also on Michigan Ave, where the world's longest hotel strike was taking place. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2...nion-officials
