My cousin and I are doing some touring by rail in March and will be spending one weeknight in Cologne Thursday 3/22/01. It does not appear to be a night of a major congress, as all the hotels I've checked appear to have availability.

Any recommendations for a small 2.5* type place near the train station/Dom and the Fruh brewpub? Our budget is 150-180 DM for a room with two twin beds. We're getting in at about 1500 from Trier, otherwise I'd just take my chances with the tourism office at the train station.
