It is STILL not certified
Even with Mfgr spin

3) Some customer that are confirmed are regretting that decision

With sales slumping badly and cancellations looming

4) It is too big for UAX operations. Too many seats - does not meet the Scope Clause for be flown by UAX and UA is very unlikely to be adding it to the fleet.

Seat wise, it competes with smaller B737 and Airbus A3xx version. (and E19x)
It may be a great airplane...but is a day late... and several billion dollars short.
Bombardier gambled big...and may very well pay big for losing.
A shame really.
UA plans to add a new small narrowbody at some point, and people I have spoken with are really impressed with the specs of the CSeries, but the delays are troubling and there is growing doubt about Bombardier being able to deliver on the promised performance.
