However, I am also not sure if you can choose cars outside of that category. For example, if you book LCAR, the app will let you choose LCARs but the desk might upgrade you to a higher category, which the app will not see.
Thanks for your reply, kxc262. I could have selected a car on the app 30 minutes before pick up, but in the end I didn't do it and got upgraded at the Sixt counter (I'm Sixt Platinum).

Please note that although many locations are different the option to select the individual vehicle you desire is still limited to availability. In some cases this cannot be achieved until 30 minutes prior to the hire taking place. When making the booking you can also leave a note for the branch with your preference. Feel free to private message me anytime you reserve a hire and I will be more than happy to contact the branch manager of the location on your behalf.
