This is cat related. The cat stepped all over the wires for phone, internet and TV. TV, Phone, Internet etc work fine.

The wireless in my office has no connection to the internet. I took my laptop there to test it and the wire is dead. No problem there is plenty of wireless to go around. The laptop shows 2 more routers in the house I can use and lots of the neighbors which I cannot but I can see them.

On my desktop not so much. The only one it sees is the non functional router. I turned the router off and it didn't see anything. But I know they are there.

I also turned off the wired connection thinking this would force the wireless to find another source. It didn't but now I cannot turn it on again.

All of the online searches say that the wireless spots should just list themselves. It does on the laptop but not on the desktop.

Help!
