A woman in the office claimed to have been bumped. She didn't come to work until Monday afternoon. She said the last flight of the day on US IAH-CLT was overbooked (6:35p.m.). She claimed that there weren't enough volunteers so they kicked several people off the plane, including her. Since she had relatives in Houston, she opted for a $100 voucher instead of a hotel room.

Sounds like lying to me. I though denied boarding compensation was higher than a $100 voucher.
