I am considering keeping the Red card and downgrading the Citi AA card to their Bronze no-annual-fee card, assuming it still exists. Any reason not to go with that approach? I know Barclays also has the no-annual-fee plain Aviator card, but I like the no FTF that the Red has, versus the Citi Platinum card which does have a FTF. Anything I'd be losing by giving up the Platinum flavor of the Citi card?
Citi's travel interruption/cancellation insurance is more comprehensive.
