Very well then, are there limits on the size & weight of our first checked bags....IE can my girl & I each load a giant box weighing say 100 LBS and put the giant box in a clear plastic bag to make efficent use of the "First checked bag free" benefit?

Just trying to think outside the box here....no pun intended
