Actually Dom's pretty darn good - especially in light of how much of it that they make. It might be over-priced, but there's really no denying that it's a quality Champagne if you taste it objectively. I also find that Chandon's wines from other geographies besides Champagne tend to be consistently good values.

I'm not saying that any Moet & Chandon products are my absolute favorites in any category, but other than their White Star, which is plonk and they know it's plonk but they make it for a particular inexperienced Champagne palate, and their house Brut NV, which is a marketing/fashion-driven wine who's commercial success is hard to argue with, their products are actually pretty high quality and pretty impressive given the volumes that they make.
