And since I KNOW someone will ask, YES I HAVE flow UA 9 across 777 to HNL 4 times last year alone. (you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you find you might get what you need).
I guess your trying to avoid Rouge on your flights to HNL. OUCH. My flights to HNL were $450us on lay flat seats, clearing months in Advance.
Someone has to sit in those 10 across seats and I prefer it to be you
A short trip on AC 787 in Y was HELL, I will avoid that, just like AC 777 with almost no washrooms. The AC luggage bins and plane loading will be a nightmare im sure customers will enjoy. ( its not just the RJ seats that make these planes horrid. )
However I am lucky, i live near an airport that has lots of competition and I dont have to suffer many domestic flights,
