A 10-across config. on the 777 unfortunately is the new industry standard; and 31" is similar to what most European / NA airlines offer.

I only wish AC had a few rows of Preferred seats with 33-34" pitch, or even a few rows in a 3-3-3 config (similar to what AA offers). But I suppose that could potentially decrease demand for PE which AC would obviously want to avoid.
