i can only speak to the Sheraton Times Square and you have to be VERY careful about what you book. Your confirmation will have the room size so you can't complain about it after.
if you are booking points, you are probably booking a STANDARD room which is closet sized with a postage stamp sized bathroom and poorly appointed for doing any work..
The hotel itself is huge and in my opinion "zoo like" -
New York is relatively small and easy to get around so location shouldn't be an issue for any lower Manhattan hotel so you may want to avoid the Times Square Scene altogether and try something further East or South
