T-Mobile's payg is $3/mo for up to 30 mins or texts per day (10c per min/txt after) and $5/week for up to 1GB of data. So you'd have to be using the phone a lot with T-Mobile to get up to $45 mo. Unlimited usage and not having to worry about it is nice though.
