On a positive note I've booked a few flights later this year though IAH and it looks like the 175 is replacing the 145 on some of those routes and DEN has shown up on the schedule with 175s as well.
I've found that OAL hubs typically get the crap airplanes and staff. CVG, CLT, DTW, etc. It's like some say UA just serves the market to say they do and leaves the competing to someone else.
