CLT is sadly one of the worst out stations, especially late evening/night. Gate agents have no idea how to board a plane let alone handle irrops and the ramp staff might as well be on strike half the day. I've mentioned this to actual employees in other cities, they've encouraged me to file DOT complaints which I'll be doing the next time it takes the ground staff an hour to get us in to the gate and deliver gate checked bags.

On a positive note I've booked a few flights later this year though IAH and it looks like the 175 is replacing the 145 on some of those routes and DEN has shown up on the schedule with 175s as well.
